Machinable Wax - Special Sizes For Jewelry Work

These are special sizes for our customers who work with jewelry or need small pieces for specialized work. We are always happy to cut special sizes from a larger piece if you need a specific size.

Our blue machinable wax is the best choice for milling and turning applications. It has a low ash content and burns cleanly out of molds for lost wax casting. It is not the best choice for hand carving. (See the green ring tubes below.)

wax ring tubes for jewelry making

 

File-A-Wax tubes designed for jewelry making. These are not the same wax blend as our blue wax. The green wax is a slightly harder "drier" wax. They are designed for hand carving but also work well for cnc milling. Extremely low ash content makes them ideal for lost wax casting. All tubes are 6 inches long. All holes are 5/8" diameter.

If you are looking for solid cylinders that are cnc machinable, we suggest that you check our blue wax cylinders.
